Scrimmage – Waukesha

October 27, 2018 all-day

The Waukesha School District high school robotics team CORE 2062 will be hosting an FLL Scrimmage on Saturday October 27, 2018 at the Waukesha South High School field house from 9am to 4pm.

Registration is open now. Please sign up for a judging slot. Each team will go consecutively through each of the three judging areas – Project, Robot Design, and Core Values. You only need to sign up once – for the start of the first session – you will then proceed to the other areas in order.

The scrimmage will allow FLL teams to practice their interviews with FLL judges and receive feedback. Each team will have an area to work on their robots. Practice tables will be available. Teams can also perform timed runs on a competition table with an FLL referee. FLL Coordinators will be available to discuss details of a typical competition day.

Even if your team doesn’t yet have a finished robot with programmed missions, or a project with a presentation ready, we hope you participate in the scrimmage. Teams can still interact and receive feedback as judges help the team realize what they might yet accomplish before their regional tournament.

While there is no cost to attend the event, lunch will be available for purchase.
